From the tallest building in America, this is what you see- more buildings. haha.. No matter it's from North, South, East, West, it really looks the same to us. Luckily we brought a map wth some explanations of the more prominent buildings around. So at least we know we didn't miss the Statue of Liberty, the Hudson River and the Wall Street etc.








The fences totally ruin my photos! Yucks! We didn't know what we are taking too, its all high rise anyway haa.. but just wana have the been that done that that kinda feeling. wahaha so silly. It's like after one an half hour of queueing to go up, we two silly girls just walked around and act touristy, taking photos and looking at souvenirs.










Anyway, after being late for an hour to meeting Delphine and Gerald, we finally managed to find them at some shoe shops. (Indian shop again!) Then off we go to the most important icon of the States- Statue of Liberty. You know, after coming here, I learn to realise the meaning of the American dream. HOw true is it, it's just a dream. You used to watch TV shows, movies, magazines showing the Empire State Building, the statues, the beaches with tonnes of people.. Everything looks so glam, simply wow right. But when you are here, all you can think of is : I'm here? That's it? When we were approaching the Statue, there's no excitement at all. Well least for me. As we took the free ferry ride, we weren't that very near to the statue at all. Bloody hell.. It's just like any other ferry that zoom past the destination in 10 mins. Thats all. =( Posted by Picasa
